I was asked recently how to do dynamic page numbering in Excel. They wanted to deduct 3 pages from the numbering.

You should be able to do this by using &[Page]-3 in the footer (or header). This didn’t work when I suggested it.

I have learned that this works in the left and middle footer but not the right footer. So in the right footer try &[Page]-3 and type space. This won’t look any different but it works.

Don’t you just love Microsoft Excel?
